It was a St. Louis Metro PD officer. (Kevin works for St. Louis County.) The department hasn't released the name of the officer yet, but they've stated that it was a 54-year-old detective with 25 years experience. He was hit in the arm/shoulder.
He posted as recently as Tuesday. | |||

I am fine. It was a Metro officer shot last night, shortly after I got off. I am actually getting ready to head out to a training class, on field treating and evacuation of gunshot wounds.
