She walked the stage today at Texas State and received her B.S. in Chemistry. Proud Poppa, she worked extremely hard, made the Dean's List last semester. It's a good day!

You have good reason to be proud as I'm sure that is not an easy degree to get and make the Dean's list in the process! I wish her all the best!

She sure didn't take the easy road by getting a Chemistry degree - and Deans List on top of that. She will do well in the world.

Hah! Graduate school, she got accepted at Tx State to start next Fall. She's interested in working with polymers, that's about as much as I know. I can't really have an in depth conversation with her about her classes, gets over my head real quick.

Congrats to her..., and to you!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
