Now, after announcing this, can you imagine the response from everyone if President Trump came out and announced that he was directing ATF to petition congress to repeal NFA in its entirety. You wouldn't be able to walk through a mall or down the street for all the liberals curled up in the fetal position crying and sucking their thumbs. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom. I would settle for pushing for the repeal of 922(o). Unfortunately that’s not likely, especially considering that the bump stock ban was solely at the direction of President Trump. Make no mistake, I’m quite pleased with President Trump overall, and fully support most of his fun positions but I’m willing to say that the man was wrong with the bump stock ban, and accordingly don’t think he would see the light with respect to the NFA, and 922(o) in particular. “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The heck with SCOTUS. Yeah, well if a frog had wings he wouldn’t bump his butt. Clearly, the Dims are insane and most of the Republicans couldn’t even rent a backbone. Besides, that would be just another law that a later congress and President could change. Better than an EO, but not certainly not cast in stone. Having the SC slap them down and refresh their memory on what “shall not be infringed” means might stick longer. | |||

When I was first reading about this treaty some time back I kept running into the term "monopoly of force." In other words the government and it's minions wanted to have all of the guns and you not to. Of course friends and supporters of the "elite" will always "have an arrangement made." | |||
