Thank you Very little |
I don't think places like CT care, if the gun makers move out they are happy... Part of the plan, and they'll just tax other businesses more.

I think Stag is pretty small. In point of fact, it's likely small enough the the state government wouldn't even notice. I'd like to see Smith & Wesson move out of MA. That would be a lot of jobs and revenue. That would make a statement.

Yup! Of course that only works until so many companies have moved out! But they are not bright enough to understand even the most fundamental principles of economics. And the knotheads who keep electing them deserve it. Elk There has never been an occasion where a people gave up their weapons in the interest of peace that didn't end in their massacre. CT makes its money off the insurance and finance industries. Stamford is more of a home for the hedge fund industry than NYC. When these companies start leaving, then they'll notice. But small gunmakers? They could care less. If Ruger left, it MIGHT raise an eyebrow.

Good for Stag Arms. I read the email they sent me a few days ago. More firearms companies need to move out of gun unfriendly states. I saw a story last year that if Remington Arms moved out of Ilion New York that the town would be in big trouble financially. Most of the people who live there either work for or directly benefit from Remington. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. Kahr Arms did the same thing; they left NY for PA.

{sigh} Is everyone full of shit these days? Are there no more plain-speaking people on this planet? Can we please just cut the shit and say what we really mean? ____________________________________________________ "I am your retribution." - Donald Trump, speech at CPAC, March 4, 2023

"Hey Connecticut, kiss my ass!" probably wouldn't have been as popular with the corporate communications department, but it would have been more succinct.

I think their only their corporate offices moved to PA and manufacturing is still in NY. I wanted to purchase a Kahr with 'Made in PA' stamped somewhere on it and asked them two or three years ago when production would be ramping up in PA, and they replied to the effect 'not in the foreseable future'. Maybe things have changed since then? __________ "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy."

Les Baer and LMT crossed the Mississipi and left IL for Iowa. Armalite left IL for AZ, but that may have been directed by Strategic Armory Corps. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Sigmund,
