I wish they would include more video of what took place before, but that looks like murder to me based on the video we have. Especially the extra “kill” shots after he is down.

The video in the news clip shows the guy that was shot, walking up, and it appears his hands are "clear". He may well been ready to engage.

In addition, the shooter did not just happen to come to this Wattaburger for some eats.

And the worker's brother (shot guy) was not simply hanging around without a reason.

Dude with gun, knew he was showing up to start crap, and the guy shot, knew the shooter was going to be there.

Or, when "mutual combat" is a stupid game to play.

The guy that shot him, was "waiting" (if you know predator behavior, you can pick up on the "preparation to strike".

The guy that shot him is such a predator, and the "follow-up", makes it clear.

After the shooter shot the guy, he sent a few rounds toward the deceased family members, who shot back, hitting him in the leg.

The shooter also fled the scene, not normally a good move when a lawful act of defense.

Don’t know if they have any constitutional carry in TX, but did the shooter have a CC permit? Not that it means everything, I’ve seen defensive shootings where the shooter wasn’t supposed to have a gun.

It sounds messy at best.

Savages. I guess I just don’t understand any kind of subculture where it’s normal or even expected to behave in this fashion.

The first time I lived in Houston, I used to buy ammo at the Walmart right by the Whataburger in the shooting.

In other words, it's on a site with better journalism. My buddy's daughter used to be the editor for chron.com and only 18% of the team she inherited could write at a college level.

Bingo. I'm going to severely limit my comments here as I don't wish to draw Para's ire. Simple reality is, these 'people' have very little in common any more (assuming they ever did) with human beings.

What strikes me is the people with the shooter that just don't react to it at all.

This probably isn't the first time, and if these people ever see the light of day again, it won't be the last.

CC does not come with a license. I somehow doubt that this pillar of society qualified for CC anyway.

Take a look at the comments section on that page. Those guys aren't doing any of us any good. I would hope to never again see in this forum a link to that site.

Did either shooter have a legally possessed gun?

Why isn't that in the news video?

I'm retired now and have been for years, but I did my Junior and Senior High School years in a school that was predominantly composed of these people and they were this way even back then.

I suspect they were this way 200 years ago also.
