I attended a parade the other weekend in a town so small, I swear, half the town marched and the other were in the stands.
In Russia, I'd guess you are 54.

Tommy's selling used cars, Nancy's fixing nails.
Harvey runs a grocery store and Margaret doesn't care.
Jerry drives a truck for Sears, Charlotte on the make.
And Paul sells life insurance and part time real estate.
Helen is a hostess. Frank works at the mill.
Janet teaches grade school and probably always will.
Bob works for the city. And Jack's in lab research.
And Peggy play organ at the Presbyterian Church.
And the class of '57 had its dreams.
We all thought we'd change the world with our great work & deeds.
Or maybe we just thought the world would change to fit our needs.
The class of '57 had its dreams.
Betty runs a trailer park.
Jan sells Tupperware.
Randy on an insane ward.
Mary's on ware fare.
Charlie took a job at Ford.
Joe took Freddie's wife.
Charlotte took a millionaire.
And Freddie took his life.
Johnny's big in cattle. Ray is deep in debt.
Where Mavis finally would up is anybodies guess.
Linda married Sonny. Brenda married me.
And the class of all of us are just part of history.
And the class of '57 had its dreams.
We all thought we'd change the world with our great work & deeds.
Or maybe we just thought the world would change to fit our needs.

Jim ShugartI quit going to reunions. There was nothing but old fat ugly fuckers there.

egregoreI hated high school and couldn't wait to get out, so I've never been to any of its reunions. 2026 would make my 50th.

All the teachers and many of the students would be dead anyway.

Similar to my class of 63. At the 50th I met my 2nd wife's 3rd husband. My senior prom date was still the best looking & she wasn't a nun as many had said. The clique that stayed in the small city to run daddy's business were still ass-holes.

You are going to the wrong ones. Try the high school class of 2005. If they question you tell them you were a slow learner and rode the short bus.

PASigMy 30th will be in 2 years and I will be a no-show just like I was for the 5th, 10th and 20th...

wreckdiverI was class of "75" A bit on the rebel side. My class was small, only 69 graduates. Most of us were friends or at least amiable.
I've gone to my 10th, my 20th, and by my 40th it was getting small enough that they combined 75 & 76 classes for a turnout of about 50.
Always had a good time, but it's sad to see how bad life has trodden down some, but I must say weight gain is probably the biggest issue.
