My goodness my childhood sure has been decimated over the last week or so!

I grew up in Cincy and to watch the Reds on TV you had to add the Sports Channel package which we could not afford but WGN was included with basic cable so I grew up watching the Cubs.

I was a huge Ryne Sandberg and Andre Dawson fan.

Way too soon. MLB.com says he had been battling cancer.

Metastatic prostate cancer.
