Evergreen College Insanity - Documentary w/lots of disturbing admin/prof meeting footage
I'm kind of surprised there was anything "new" to be shown about the debacle that led ultimately to profs Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying having to flee campus in fear for their safety from students, and the subsequent financial-near-collapse of the university, but here it is.
We all know there are big problems with the SJW mentality in schools, but this 30 minute, first-of-two-parts documentary, disturbs me on a new level. There's clearly cult forces and tactics in operation, and they're effective.
This two-part short about The Evergreen Scandal is associated with a feature-length documentary I'm working on about The Grievance Studies Affair, following Peter Boghossian, Helen Pluckrose and James Lindsay.
My usual sources of funding are blocked off to me due to the sensitive subject matter of the film and the time I'm taking to properly understand it.
I intended this to be a scene in the feature documentary but as I dug into the story and started playing around with the footage it became clear that it needed to become its own film. I'm currently working on Part 2 - Evergreen Campus Meltdown. Stay tuned.
"Evergreen is what happens when this ideology reaches critical mass" - Former Evergreen Student and fellow filmmaker Benjamin Boyce.
Benjamin was extremely helpful on this. His work is a much deeper dive into the Evergreen events and he has a feature film en route. It's definitely worth watching his work and supporting his channel - https://bit.ly/2RuMeZG

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown
