Here is a YouTube link to a guy talking about Gab’s Dissenter website and browser plugin. Apparently it allows people to comment on anything on the internet without censorship. So for example, YouTube videos that have comments disabled can be linked to and people can comment thru Dissenter.

I’ve seen Gab mentioned in a few threads here but recently Gab has been getting more of a foothold. So I thought it deserves its own thread.

I think this is a good thing but I’m not sure about signing up for Dissenter. Could this be the alternative platform some here have asked for?

Apparently you need an invite to join Gab though. I’m not quite sure what the difference is though between the two.

So I’m throwing this out here to see if anyone knows more about it than me. It’s driving the MSN crazy apparently. They claim it’s just a bunch of alt right nazis on Gab but what would you expect from the MSM.

The comments on Twitter and YouTube are not at all worth my time. It's a cesspool. Certainly the original post or video on the platforms may contain stuff that I read or watch, but the comments section? No thanks.

Same with Fox News or CNN or any other news website. The comments are pure garbage.

Why would Gab be any different?

Gab is different because the leftist media can’t sensor people. That doesn’t mean that you, me, or anyone here gives a crap to read the crap. But if it opens up the internet for conservatives to have a voice then I’m all for it.

I think it could easily be trolled to death by lefties so maybe it won’t work out. But I’m glad someone is trying. Time will tell.
