If someone was part of a bicycle-mounted infantry unit assaulting a position along a well-maintained paved road and we were laying down covering fire it might make sense, but otherwise?

I get that he was placating his son's question, I get it, parents do it all the time. Not sure making a video and attempting to legitimize it as a tactic is valid though. Firstly, he needs to ride a real bike, not some BMX/pump-track bike that has zero purpose other than playing on a fixed course. I"m not asking him to fully flesh-out some viable tactics but, good grief, its as if he by-passed the basic issues of cover vs concealment when engaged with an active threat.
