My wife and I have started a GoFundMe page to help save our 8 year old German Shepherd. Indy

She was diagnosed with autoimmune hemolytic anemia several days ago (Evans syndrome)

Basically for whatever reason the body has begun to attack itself and destroy the red blood cells.

She underwent several blood transfusions here at a local ER vet . She's also on two immune suppressant drugs . Last night the wife and I transferred her to an emergency ER vet in Washington DC for a plasma transfer therapy procedure this week .

Even with pet insurance things are starting to add up.

At this point even just sharing the page and getting the word out means a lot to us and we would be most appreciative .

Vet called earlier this morning she's going undergoing her first plasma therapy this afternoon.

Just got the e-mail update that Indy's first plasma treatment has helped but that she still has a long way to go. Glad to hear it and cheering for your girl!
