Para's posting of Thomas Sowell's videos has led me down some rabbit holes, and normally, I quietly go.

BUT
I would like to share a perspective us, on this forum, don't often get.

An outsiders point of view.

He is a person who reacts to videos, speeches, music etc.
I am not hawking him, merely offering an opinion of someone coming from a different culture.


I would like your feedback after giving the guy a listen.
DOn't shut him down, after a comment, give him a chance to play out his thoughts.

I found Para's postings enlightening, and same with this guys reactions.

Ben Shapiro - one of my all-time heroes. At one point in the 1st video this gentleman said he would love to see someone shut Shapiro down. I say "good luck with that". It will take someone with a wit that travels at the speed of light; an intellect probably larger than Einstein's; and the ability to speak as fast as Robin Williams... Good Luck

The take away I had from the second video was that this guy needs to put his emotions on the shelf and just listen to Shapiro. Stop trying to be offended by the delivery or approach and stay on topic. He appears to be about 15% into the light, still clinging to the racism tropes and transgender BS.

I'm sorry to be a buzzkill, but here it goes: I don't know who that is in those thumbnails, mugging for the camera, but I despise "reaction videos". It's a cheap, cheap way to piggyback off of someone else's work and popularity. If you want to post videos from Shapiro and from Sowell, please feel free to do so, but please remove that stuff you have up now. I won't have reaction videos in this forum. It's tantamount to theft on the part of the authors of these reaction videos.

That guy looks like a clown, but even worse than that, he's stealing the work of others in a bid to get clicks. It's not even an industrious form of theft. It's lazy.

It bothers the Hell out of me that that guy has gotten any notice and even a single click out of his crap being posted here.

As a matter of fact, I'm sorry, but I'm taking down those vids myself.

Guys, please never post reaction videos here.

Ben has good stuff but I find I prefer the discussions w/ Dr. Thomas Sowell.
I'm looking at videos on yootoob and wouldn't know where to begin in picking just one. Or just two. ...

Equally as annoying (albeit not here on SF) are the Youtube "voice coach" reactions to songs by professional recording artists. Hey asshat - this guy/gal just sold 1 million albums and has been on the Nations Top 10 for 3 months - nobody cares about your opinion and analysis of his/her voice.
