Depends on your state and local laws and just how far the precinct workers and local police want to push things. If they push your outfit as political and LE agrees you'll find yourself with a decision to make. In this case charges probably get dropped after the fact but it's your time and money though some group would foot your legal bills if it came down to it. Wear your clothes, be aware of the potential of things going sideways, do what you feel you need to do with knowledge of consequences.

I was talked to by the police as a 10 year old on the schoolyard at recess for electioneering. The local precinct was in my elementary school auditorium and I spent the first part of recess asking voters if they were voting for Reagan or Mondale and telling them they should really vote for Reagan because he was much better. Imagine how well that went over in Berkeley. The cop told me to knock it off and why.

That is a mural on the wall of a public building. Although I don't particularly agree with having it there, it isn't a violation of the election rules. (For one thing, Obama is not on the ballot.)

I think it is fine if you are Bill Clinton.

The rules are for the lesser people.

That was inside a polling place when he was on the ballot.

Probably the reason I used past tense.

Holy shit California is nuts. You can really get arrested for a T-shirt? Elementary school children harassed by the Gestapo? Does first amendment not apply in CA?

This is clearly not permitted.
When I voted, they warned me that my phone must be turned off.
But then again the photo was taken at a polling place in Philly, they may have different rules.

I always wear a Glock or Sigarms or Colt tee shirt when I vote.

No problems, except a few dirty looks from the old fart Democrats.
