I'm in PA this week traveling with My sister and we stopped at the Flight 93 National Memorial today.

We were both very impressed and pleased with both the quality of the memorial and the number of people that were there on a Tuesday when school is in session.

They have made a respectful and informative memorial and if anyone gets the opportunity to visit it, I highly recommend you do.

I recall that the "original" Flight 93 Memorial building burned down some years back. It is rather remote, and the Fire Department response time was long.
About 11 years ago while on a 2500+ mile motorcycle touring adventure, we did stop and visit the place before it burned down.
It's a very solemn place.

Went there years ago, just a trailer of sorts set up. On that day they had extra security, Sec Rumsfeld was due to drop in.

If I’m ever driving by again I would add a visit.

I have visited the memorial several times over the years since it isn't too far from my home. It is a sacred place. Even when it was a trailer and chain link fencing it was special. People would attach remembrances to the fence. It has come a long way since that time and the overall design of the site is well done. There is a sidewalk that follows the path of Flight 93 in it's last moments. I cannot walk that path without tears in my eyes remembering the bravery of the passengers.

I was there before the park service took over and it was thousands of mementos left by visitors on wooden stands with chicken wire built by locals. That was one of the most impressive and patriotic things I have ever seen. People left what they had, with notes written on them. I collect fishing lures, and and just bought an old Jitterbug at an antique shop down the road. I was so overwhelmed by what I saw that I wrote the date and a note on it with magic marker and left it there. It is hard to describe how impressive these impromptu dedications were. I have also been back since the government took over, it was good too, but not better than the original.

It's on my places to visit. Probably only do it once. That was the way with visiting The Wall. total emotional overload for both myself and my wife.
