It does take a while. Had mine out Dec. 15, 2016. The incontinence was an issue. I was very frustrated. I hated wearing the depends but had to do it. Then at the 6 month point I just stopped. Exactly as my surgeon had said. Still wear pads but not a big deal and not necessary all the time. It gets better. Hang in there. Beats the alternative.

Thanks,BOATTRASH1, positive thoughts much appreciated. I'm seeing very small but consistent improvement. Quality of life much diminished as of now, six months seems doable. ![]()
I'd suggest doing the homework going in. I'm finding a lot of medical professionals -- depending on the treatment -- are less than straightforward. There can be various reasons they don't or won't lay it all on the line, but after a hard last six months with various specialists, I'll just say I'm glad I did my homework. V tail. Got hold of the brother in law. He had a laser procedure to reduce prostate size, not the cargo treatment. My apologies. Best of luck to you with whatever you decide......

Right, I remember. I'm still on hold, waiting for appointment to be set for initial consultation with the cryo doc. I have my regular six-month visit with primary care guy next week. He seems to be pretty well plugged in to the system; I'll ask him if he can light a fire under somebody's ass, or maybe recommend another urologist for second opinion, discuss alternatives, etc. הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים
