Did that several years back, driving a truck we displayed at a car show. Guy that was supposed to pick it up with an enclosed trailer decided he didn’t want to spend hours waiting in line to get into Cobo Hall so he called my ex boss. I got stuck driving it and caught Bambi with the corner of the fender. No sheet metal damage but took the grille, headlight, bumper and the custom air dam, total came to around 3k. Ex supervisor tried to hang me with the deductible, I told him “Sure, just take it out of my last check”.
