After the MGTOW thread I was wondering.......
I'm at a place in my life where I have been with my wife longer than the period of time that I lived without her. How many of you out there in the same position in life?

Not there quite yet. I’m 47 and we’ve been together just shy of 20 years.

I'm 60, I have been with my wife for over 38 years (July81) and I would do it all over again in a heart beat.

Together for 33, married for 25 and we’re both 48. We both are enjoying the empty nest phase of life and enjoy each other’s company.

Awesome. Love seeing success stories like that!

As to the OP, I'm close. Next year makes 20 and we married at 20 so I guess the break even point?

Almost double. We got married when I was 24, 45 years ago this coming Tuesday (New Year's Eve)

Pretty much exactly double. Married 2 months before turned 25; 50th anniversary was this past June. Having a worldwide, year-long celebration: next stop: Tasmania and New Zealand.

I just turned 55, my wife is 53. We celebrate 30 years of marriage next November. I'll have you know she's a very patient woman. Smile

We're at a good place in our lives. We love each other and love doing things together. Alas, she has no interest in hunting or shooting but there's none of us perfect.

....getting close to the Big 50 of Wedded Bliss...

My Sweet Bride remarked a few years back something about 'its 40-something now, what do YOU think'.....of course I leapt in to comment 'Why Dear it seems like the Best Couple Years of My Life'....course she saw right thru that...

I'm sort of in the "Moses" mode.

I tried 40 years of married life.

Now I am going to try for 40 years of not married. (wandering the desert, so to speak...)

Then maybe another 40 years of married.

72 here and happily married for 39 of those years. I wouldn't change a thing and my wife says the same. We are blessed and know it.
