The 97% statistic that the left loves to cite ad nauseam is based on a single, broadly worded survey question that asked if man's presence on the earth has an effect on CO2 levels, or something along this line. 97% of those respondents of course said yes, but they do not all believe in catastrophic, manmade global warming.
