Without Brad to ask questions of its hard to know where we stand. Where I live it's hard to judge how things are going on a statewide basis. I know the dems will probably take the Govs office, what about the house and senate? Do you think these changed will effect our gun rights?

Thanks, Jim

I cant say if I am well versed, but here in the Yoop, Marquette County is full on Dem. And the thought of Whitmer in the Governors office fills me with dread.
Its the big cities in the L.P. that chart the course of Michigan politics. Unfortunately.
And I wonder if the mess created by the Flint water crisis has hurt any hope of a Republican Governor.

I have family in Michigan. Demonrat run Flint kicked the can down the road year after year for 40+ years after knowing full well they had a problem. My family members said the news routinely and erroneiously blamed the governor for Flint's bad choices.

Hopefully with Trump winning Michigan the trend continues. As I recall, the polls had Hildebeast winning so hopefully the pollsters are wrong again with the Demonrat having an 8 point advantage for next week's governor's election.

I sent John James some money to help him defeat StabMeNow.

I think Bill Schuette and the Republican party have hurt any hope of a Republican Governor.

Also much blue here in LP. If the Dems win control, see taxes and handouts rocket up. I like Schutte, but the leftists and union mantra is embedded everywhere around here. The heavily populated Flint, Detroit area. And every thing and every body is crooked as hell around here. Like say one thing, do another after winning. I can only hope for the best.

Looks like Stabenow will stay, and get the Dem Governor. Sadly, Baldwin in WI will likely win too. The power of incumbency is there.

How soon people forget the hollow promises of former MI Gov Grandholm? I realize rhetoric can win the day, reality hardly matters.

Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

The outgoing governor deserves some of the blame too.

Absolutely. Thats why I included the Republican party. If you really want to include everyone you have to add our self serving representatives too.
