USA is playing Mexico tonight.

The winner goes to the Olympics.

We did not qualify for the last Olympics and I don't think we will win tonight but that's why you play the games.

I have not been impressed with our play so far in the first two games.

We actually played better than I thought we would.

We will play Canada on Sunday probably and if the US wins we still go to the Olympics...

We'll see if it's Canada tomorrow. Canada couldn't score on Haiti, and the Hondurans haven't exactly been pushovers over the past few years.

little side note. Qualifiers for 2022 just started too.

Our USMNT (World Cup Team) beat Jamaica in a friendly 4-1 yesterday.

It looks like a promising young group of quicker more talented players than the old guard.

Sergino Dest scored a ripper in the first half.

OK, we play Honduras @ 3:00 pacific time in the CONCACAF Semi final today.

Mexico and Canada is the other match up in the Semi finals.

No Olympics for USMNT U-23.

I cannot believe we lost that match the way we did. How can a professional goal keeper make a stupid mistake like that?? Maybe the team was just worn down but I didn't see much intensity there except in spurts.

The goalie blew it for sure.

Honduras is no slouch. They are actually the only country to qualify for the Olympics in the last three cycles in the CONCACAF.

Playing in Mexico is hot and a hard place to win too.
