We have seen a lot of posting of K9s dying in the line of duty, this post is about a K9 who made it to retirement. Boynton Beach Police Department K9 Hutch served from 2007 to 2014 when he retired to his last years with his handler's family. Hutch passed away on Saturday 11/3/18 at the age of 13 years old. During Hutch's career, he and his handler apprehended over 200 suspect and placed first in the 2012 South Florida Police K9 Competition.

The Boynton Beach Police Department did the below tribute video for Hutch. Watching the video, Hutch exemplified the perfect combination of the 3 "C"s for a K9: Calm, Controlled, and Confident.
