These Progressive Governors can make all the declarations in the world but it doesn't mean they have the right to trample the Constitution. They would never hold up in court.

My old law professor always said the constitution is what is practiced on your street corner. What doesn't hold up in court doesn't prevent police from taking your guns, it just makes them sorry they did. Remember all the cops during Katrina who refused to take people's guns? Oh wait, there weren't any.
