What is it about your Wolverine socks that you like that the current variety of Wolverine socks do not have?

Edit: I see on the Wolverine website that they have no over the calf socks any more, so I guess that's what their new products are missing.

Recently, I've just been searching for what I want on Amazon and picking the best priced "name brand" that I recognize with the features I want. I wear Thorlo’s with my cowboy boots

Another vote for darn tough brand. Made in US. I got a pair at liquidation price when an outdoor store was going out of business. Best socks I’ve ever worn with my boots. Wish I had bought several pair.
