Was a bit bored, so I ran speedtest.net from my work computer:

I remember when we were running 1.5MB T-1 & hosting our website & email Roll Eyes Oh, those were the days!

Yeah, we've come a long way from the old 300 baud coupler I started out on.

There was a time many, many, moons ago when I, as a young corporate services consultant at a bank, would setup large cash management customers with access to our system, and this would be the sweet sound(s) of success as they connected at 4800. Razz

My wifi at home:

My speed at work sucks since they throttle it to each individual workstation.
I'm sure the company as a whole has massive bandwidth... but none for me lol...

Holy cow! I know my home internet is faster than my work internet, but I haven’t tested the work connection; now I will. I work for the government though so it is slow and we can’t use it for personal use.

Good grief. I pay a lot for my home internet and via wi-fi I get 29.26 down and 3.51 up.

I won't post a screen shot, but I get
ping 628 ms
download 20.59 Mbps
upload 0.97 Mbps.

I hate any task that requires info from the 'net, because webpage designers seem to think we all get service like lkdr1989's, and design their bell-and-whistle laden monstrosities to fit.

I would like to apologize to anyone I have *not* offended. Please be patient. I will get to you shortly.

I don't have a machine that can max out our network connections.
I doubt speedtest does either.
We have multiple 100Gbs and 10Gbs
