Going to Tucson in a couple weeks for about a week.

When we go I like to do two or three things, depending upon how much time we have:

Pima Air and Space Museum, including the boneyard tour if possible.

Drive up Mount Lemon.

Hike Seven Falls.

Ruby ghost town and Titan Missile Museum. Both need reservations depending on how busy they are, contact them before venturing out. Just a little south of Tucson, If you get an early start you should be able to see both in one day, I would hit the museum very early then head over to the ghost town the rest of the day,pack a late lunch, not much around there.

The Desert Museum, especially if the raptor experience is available.

We went there last summer specifically to visit Saguaro National Park to see the huge cacti.

If your in to coins at all stop in and see Ben the coin geek at Old Pueblo Coin. He also has a youtube channel.

Titan Missile Museum - good tour

Pima air and Space - great place

Boneyard Tour - still worth it but has been scaled back - reservations required in advance and you have to pick the day

Mt. Lemmon - Windy Point, Geology Point, Summerhaven good places

Kitt Peak

Mirror Lab at U of A

Desert Museum - excellent

Gaslight Theater for excellent comedy plays with dinner - reservations needed.

Biosphere 2 is north of Tucson in Oracle

Mt. Lemmon is great.

Another vote for the Desert Museum.

*Side Note*

If you drive Interstate Highway I-19 (only goes from Tucson to Nogales AZ, as if you're going to the Titan Missile Museum in Sahuarita/Green Valley, great place, I've been there and highly recommend it) you will be on the only Interstate Highway in the USA marked in Kilometers instead of Miles. Mile Markers, exit signs, etc, all Kilometers.

Really cool tribal cemetery right around the corner from that. Signs on the road say no photos allowed, but you will definitely want to take a photo.

Tombstone AZ, about hour and a half south.

In addition to the above, Kartchner Caverns and Old Tucson, if you are into western movies.

I have been to the mission several times and beautiful and worth the trip. Funny thing I saw LOTS of young dudes with gang banger tats all over the place! It seems the Latin gangs respect religious sites and despite there clearly being 2 rival gangs on site didn’t mix it up at the mission. ( of course I identified exit strategy, cover locations kept situational awareness and was carrying )

After that head further south to Bisbee, AZ a quirky artsy fartsy town nestled outside of a big ol Copper mine, interesting place lots of shops for some Tourist style browsing and places to grab food and drink, tour the Queen Mine, Mining Museums etc.

From Bisbee it's 7 miles to Lowell AZ, Erie St and step back into time, the street and stores are maintained as it would have been in the 1950s

IF you feel adventurous, head to NACO on the border and watch the Mexicans invade the US...

It is hot. We were there in March some time back.Enjoyed the Desert Museum and the Saguaro cactuses.

All good suggestions. Wife and I visited Tucson in the fall of 2020 for the wedding of her nephew. In fact the wedding occurred in the Saguaro NP.

While there I spent the day at the Pima Air and Space Museum which I highly recommend. We also visited the San Xavier Mission which was being renovated at the time.

Tombstone was on my list as well so we drove down, but HellDorado days was happening on the day of our visit causing parking and crowd issues. We wanted to see Bisbee but ran out of time.
