Ten tears ago the book store , up in the big city had 8 to ten gun magazines on their rack. last week , I had 30 minutes to kill so I popped in to see what , ( if any ) they had. They had 44 ! gun mags on the very same rack ! and that was not counting the outdoors or hunting magazines. I was astounded, I could not believe it. then I started picking some up to purchase, I stopped after 6 choices and looked at the prices. 4 of the six were $9.99 and the other two were $7.00 , all went back on the rack. I've been looking at different magazines too lately, finally settled for one called "Magnum" (for 2018). It was $9.95 and while I normally wouldn't buy magazines this expensive, it has 40+ reviews including pistols, ARs, long range rifles and some gear as well. There's a head to head review of compacts which includes the P365 and the very next review is the Rattler. It looked like it had enough reviews and articles to keep me reading for a few days so I decided to pick it up.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should |
I thought you were going to say there were no gun magazines at the store. With all the anti-gun companies and the availability of info on the internet, I'm surprised too. I can't remember the last magazine I purchase of any sort, it's been a decade or more. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

I have subscriptions to four or five mags and NEVER renew on the first reminder. They always go down to $8-12 a year if you wait til " this is your last notice before your subscription expires" NRA Life member NRA Certified Instructor "Our duty is to serve the mission, and if we're not doing that, then we have no right to call what we do service" Marcus Luttrell

I just checked the prices of several common firearms magazines and they are all in the $10 and up range. I'm down to only 2 coming by subscription (Guns & Ammo and American Rifleman) and I'm so over-subscribed from years back I've no idea what I actually paid for G&A. (I kept getting renewal offers and responded to them and ended up being subscribed well into the 2020s.) flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth
