I'm sure the forum is sick of hearing about how wonderful David Truong is, but here goes....

A few years ago, he made a diamond tennis bracelet for my wife. For our 20th Anniversary, she wanted to convert the bracelet into a necklace. Dennis found 60 new diamonds to match perfectly with her existing stones from the bracelet and put them in a gorgeous new necklace mounting. The result is a true show-stopping piece that my wife loved.

And he did it for significantly less than the local jewelers in my town quoted. Then he sent it to me across the country for approval before I sent him a dime.

David is a true gentleman and mensch. I've never had the pleasure of meeting him in person, but I can say that he is a man whose word I would take without a second thought. He is a fantastic jeweler and a major asset to this community. Can't recommend him enough.

I've never heard a bad thing about him, and have nothing bad to say. Good feedback is the best feedback.

That guy on the plane he subdued might argue that with you!

But Dave’s OK in my book. He made an elephant pendant for Mrs. Mike a few years ago. He also looked at my Marathon GSAR watch and said there was nothing wrong with it and wouldn’t let me pay him for his time.

IF you all haven't figured it out, the man lives up to the hype. My wife gets compliments on her engagement ring constantly. Beyond easy/fair to deal with.

Can't sing his praises loud enough.

When my best friend Buddy the Lab went over the rainbow bridge unexpectedly I contacted David to make a necklace to hold some of Buddy's ashes.

David refused to accept any payment.

Who does that!? Only one saint that I can think of...

Dave is The Man.

Mensch is exactly right. He mailed me a watch I had expressed interest in without anything more than my contact information.

He was right though, great watch. I bought it.

Same. Love him!

Even more fun as y’all know he uses social media to promote his business. He was ok not showing the AMAZING ring he made for our anniversary until after mid December. You know, because Deniseair follows him too!

We discussed a concept, he sent me stone pics and a CAD illustration and of course the final product that showed up a few weeks later was better than any of that. Excited to share with the bride, may score another 35 years…..

Tagging in to a Dave thread…

I sent him a couple of pics … he sent me this. Cannot imagine purchasing a major piece of jewelry without consulting David first.

Thank you sir, the daily compliments she gets on this ring have made me an absolute hero!

We recently sent a bunch of old gold rings and such to David. He was quick to respond and gave us a fair price for what he could use, and quickly returned the rest. Deal with confidence with David. An honest businessman in today's word.
