Nah. I have done both.

The key to enforcement is to punish the violator, not an inanimate object. The punishment of inanimate objects for the commission of a crime or carelessness is an affront to stupidity.

I did it the same way she did, only I was facing out.
It was an eye opening experience.

I had a friend that really wanted to go skydiving but wouldn't get any takers so I told her I'd do it with her. We did tandem dives with an instructor. I went first and loved it.
When she went and they deployed the chute at 4,000 feet we could hear her screaming from the ground. She screamed until they hit the ground.
We were joking with the instructor about how long she screamed and he said that was nothing compared to some he's jumped with.
I've bungee jumped several times, all off of the Young's High Bridge in Lawrenceburg, KY. Run by a company called Vertigo Bungee, it's a 240' plunge over the Kentucky River.
Lots of fun, especially when combined with a 1000+ mile motorcycle trip there & back. It's been a few years but it's on my "to do again" list.
Icarus flew too close to the sun, but at least he flew.

I met you couple times, broke bread with you, spent most of a day discussing civilian Flight Instructor issues, and I came away with the impression that that you were a totally sane, squared away gentleman.

I tried it 30 years ago in Virginia beach and was shitting my pants after the 50 million steps to get to the top. The guys up top were telling me to relax that it will be fun!
"OK on 3 and we'll tip you over," "1" and then me yelling as im falling 200 feet.
Turns out it was fun after all.
