"This should have been done years ago, not by me."

President Trump sticking his finger in Obama's eye, and well-deserved it is. What did Obama do with NK? What did he do? He did nothng, because he's a no-talent, propped up empty suit of a political hack.

Donald Trump, on the other hand, has very extensive experience in negotiating.

Are you paying attention, Barry? I can't wait to hear your weak-ass butthurt remarks about all of this. President Trump is talking about ending the Korean War. Incredible.

It took us so long to find out that the reason nothing could get done in the Presidency was because we kept electing politicians. Well, now we actually have a very effective President.

I absolutely love the WINNING of Trump and his team. My only regret is having to have gotten into my 70s to witness a rebirth of righteous leadership in the White House. Big Grin

Nice to dangle that in front of Rod, his wife, and his kids.

Just because it sucks for him and his family doesn't mean he can't be useful. Maybe his in-office corruption behavior to you is less worthy of prison time than others vastly more corrupt like the Clinton cartel, but that does not make his prison time less worthy in and of itself. You can argue his sentence was overtly harsh, but that's about it.

I took a look at CNN coverage and Wolf Blitzer was talking to a reporter in Singapore. They were actually talking about the summit in a serious manner, discussing preparations and so forth. It was actually informative coverage.

I switched over to MSNBC and it is official- they are the bottom of the barrel. They called President Trump a hypocrite for backing out of the Iran deal, but embracing the Korean Summit. They were talking about a Constitutional crisis. I am not kidding. If this doesn't make sense to you, join the club. Those people are absolutely insane. There is no basis in reality for the things they are saying- none. They make CNN look like the most professional news organization extant.
I could take only a couple of minutes of their nonsensical yammering. I don't see how any sane, rational person can listen to those freaking weirdos. The bottom of the barrel. There's not a single real journalist at that place. It's all about hating Trump all the time, no matter what he does or does not do.

Last December, people in Hawaii and on the West coast of the US were frightened about the possibility of the greatest horror- nuclear war. Now here we are a mere six months later and President Trump has done something remarkable, but he's a crook, an idiot and a racist asshole per MSNBC.

It's just beyond belief, listening to these people. Just incredible. I'd be embarrassed for them if I didn't want to see each and every one of them summarily hanged.

I had a similar strong reaction to MSNBC from this story:

https://www.realclearpolitics....ay_in_five_days.html

Chuck Todd and 3 stooges. Todd says the spygate story is BS and will go away in 5 days. The 3 stooges chime right in and kiss each others' ass.

This is how news media control the masses. A classic propaganda operation.

There is a timeline put together by Sara Carter starting in the earliest days of Page/Papadopoulos here.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

If nothing more happens immediately than that there is a summit-- that is a colossal win. Not just for Trump, but for the world. The stooges at MSNBC and elsewhere are swimming against a powerful current of amazing achievement. In which they will drown.

Like it or not, that would violate the 1st Amendment.

I would MUCH rather see them charged with Sedition. THAT...would send a YUGE message!

Upcoming election will be the pivot point for whether we as a nation continue to improve.

more evidence of the weakness of the Mueller "investigation"

From a January 2018 ltr to Mueller from a former lawyer of Donald Trump:

https://www.nytimes.com/intera...legal-documents.html

In our conversation of January 8, your office identified the following topics as areas you desired to address with the President in order to complete your investigation on the subjects of alleged collusion and obstruction of justice:

1. Former National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn — information regarding his contacts with Ambassador Kislyak about sanctions during the transition process;

2. Lt. Gen. Flynn’s communications with Vice President Michael Pence regarding those contacts;

3. Lt. Gen. Flynn’s interview with the FBI regarding the same;

4. Then-Acting Attorney General Sally Yates coming to the White House to discuss same;

5. The President’s meeting on February 14, 2017, with then-Director James Comey;

6 Any other relevant information regarding former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn;

7. The President’s awareness of and reaction to investigations by the FBI, the House and the Senate into possible collusion;

8. The President’s reaction to Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ recusal from the Russia investigation;

9. The President’s reaction to Former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony on March 20, 2017, before the House Intelligence Committee;

10. Information related to conversations with intelligence officials generally regarding ongoing investigations;

11. Information regarding who the President had had conversations with concerning Mr. Comey’s performance;

12. Whether or not Mr. Comey’s May 3, 2017, testimony led to his termination;

13. Information regarding communications with Ambassador Kislyak, Minister Lavrov, and Lester Holt;

14. The President’s reaction to the appointment of Robert Mueller as Special Counsel;

15. The President’s interaction with Attorney General Sessions as it relates to the appointment of Special Counsel; and,

16. The statement of July 8, 2017, concerning Donald Trump, Jr.’s meeting in Trump Tower.

This is what Mueller's got ? $20 million spent by Mueller on Russia/Trump campaign collusion and he has these kinds of questions for President Trump?

President Trump tweets today:

As only one of two people left who could become President, why wouldn’t the FBI or Department of “Justice” have told me that they were secretly investigating Paul Manafort (on charges that were 10 years old and had been previously dropped) during my campaign? Should have told me!

...Paul Manafort came into the campaign very late and was with us for a short period of time (he represented Ronald Reagan, Bob Dole & many others over the years), but we should have been told that Comey and the boys were doing a number on him, and he wouldn’t have been hired!
