He tried to sell a US Senate seat, for God's sake!!! He felt then, and still does, that it was perfectly alright to do so, firmly believing it was his right as Governor to auction it off for cash and favors. As to his wife, she's also still delusional about it.
And don't think Blago won't try to get back into politics. Quinn, the Democrat before the current Gov Rauner, and just a slimy as Blago, is now running for office again. Blago will, too.
