I will vote in person, on election day.

I'm an election official, but I can take "time out" to vote that day.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I will be voting in person as soon as early voting begins here. The more people that vote in person, the less chance of the voter mail fraud will be able to affect the election.

"cslinger" = I appreciated your post - THANKS for that... And what I appreciated most was the fact that you properly called our country a REPUBLIC and NOT a DEMOCRACY as so many citizens and elected (and supposedly educated) officials do. I am sure that you, like me, have heard our elected officials in Washington & elsewhere call this country a "democracy" over and over. I have heard it so much that the anger just comes up in my face when I hear it now. How can these clowns/idiots be expected to properly govern this country when they don't even know what form of government The Founding Fathers established for us and future generations? Over the years I have heard many people speculate as to what principally will cause our country to fall... and I have concluded that I believe it will be ignorance -> ignorance of history, and specifically ignorance of The Declaration, The Constitution, and the system of government that was designed for us by The Founding Fathers. So while the liberals are openly demanding all the changes they would like to see to our system of government, would it be too much to ask for calm, rational, reasonable, level headed conservatives to present their own "wish list"? If we can, then how about we start with reverting to the Original Way that Senators were elected and installed - and get rid of this insane "popular vote" system of selecting Senators? And while we're at it - how about making it a law that The Supreme Court is limited to NINE Judges? And I'm just spit-balling here, but how about we make it so that the electoral college can NEVER be eliminated? And while we're on a roll, how about we pass a law forbidding the murder of babies of all ages - whether one week or thirty-eight weeks old? Seems common sense to me that murder is murder at ANY AGE. So all you libs who keep saying that a woman should have the right to choose - just remember that you HAD the right to choose, and you slept with that guy anyway - knowing full well the consequences of your actions. "cslinger", this reply ran way longer than originally intended, and I apologize for that, but I just want to tell you once again how refreshing it is to hear our country properly called a REPUBLIC. I'd also add talk to your friends about supporting President Trump and ask them to vote. We need to make this a viral all hands on deck effort.

Kentucky’s early voting starts on Tuesday. We have had early voting before, but on such a small scale that voters went to the individual County Clerk’s main offices. With this massive new requirement, it’s going to be a CHARLIE FOXTROT in the large counties (Jefferson, Fayette, Warren, etc.).

Wife and I plan on doing it early before November 3, as reduced numbers of precincts and county-wide availability, not to mention the “social distancing” bullshit will severely impact turnout.

I'm in Georgia and I went to the local library to early vote today. It took three hours from arrival to casting of my ballot and there were fewer than 100 people in front of me when I arrived.

Democrats in Georgia complained loud and long about needing a traceable paper ballot following the 2016 and 2018 elections. The old system was a good, very efficient electronic system, but some claimed that their ballots were changed on screen and some claimed that the cards could be programmed to vote a particular way. The new system is slower, requiring the ballot to be printed and then scanned to be officially cast.

Did I mention slow? Democrats have been urging their voters to vote absentee or by mail. A recent poll showed that a large percentage of Democrat voters plan to use this method, compared to only about 20% of Republicans, most of whom plan to vote early or vote on the actual election day. By creating a slower system, there's a greater chance that they'll see some voters turn away in frustration on Election Day (like a couple who decided to turn away to come back later today); with a higher percentage of Republicans voting that day, they may feel they can drive down the Republican vote.

Please don't wait. Vote early.

Today is the first day of early voting in TX. Was out for errands and figured why not...at 1100 the line was wrapped around the building, and there was not a parking spot for a block in all directions....

I’ll wait a week and let the fervor die off
