Best caulk/other material to fix a couple different basement leaks...
You have to put drain tile around the basement footing to have a dry basement which is code in most places. The drain feeds a sump pump or if on a hill, it flows out the lower level.

Crack stix is good stuff since it allows for expansion and contraction. I have used it between the house foundation and the concrete driveway.
