Like what?

Churchill figured the difference between socialism and communism..... “If I were asked the difference between Socialism and Communism, I could only reply that the Socialist tries to lead us to disaster by foolish words and the Communist could try to drive us there by violent deeds.“

So what about the Bolshe’s?

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Communism as an economic model, doesn’t even make sense. Socialism is a nightmare, but it is possible to instill it.

Communism is, literally, no one owns anything’ and everyone’s supposed to be equal, so take whatever you want - which always ends up “Mister X is in charge because that doesn’t work.
.

All I can think of is any Communist has never seen it, never worked for anything, and doesn’t have anything to be taken away
And Mister X is usually a rat bastard

They are in love with the romanticized version of Communism and not the reality.

Communism, specifically “Marxism” is an 19th century concept that has no place in modern society.

The socio-economic conditions and establishments it was designed and articulated to combat/overthrow simply don’t exist.

Thought: Communism was conceived prior to electric lighting.

All I can think of, is they think they are special, and that they will end up the higher castes in the Communist system, and get their revenge on all this who actually make money.

The Soviet officers I knew were all off spring of the old aristocracy, and very young colonels, etc but they did work, to an extent.
