So I thought I’d share a pic of our (second) new Bullmastiff pup. The first one y’all will recall was having seizures from an unknown source.

This is Henry below taking nap number three for today. He’s living his best life as you can tell. We picked him up today and he’s great! Soooo chill and happy to be with us, and he loves our German Shepherd. Wish us good luck with our new family member!

Best of luck. I had a bad childhood experience with a BM so not my thing. But love dogs. Hope he turns out to be a sweetheart.

A couple of predictions.

In about a year your German Shepherd is going to come to and ask "what you feeding Henry, some kind of radioactive growth fuel. Dad, I want some of that good stuff."

Tug of War, you won't ever win again, Henry will win every time.

PS; love the breed and am happy to just watch them play. Because feeding those big boys is only cheap if you own a dog food company.

I've stopped counting.

I’m going to guess Henry weighs close to 20 pounds. He was born April 12th. I’ll know for sure after our check up Thursday. His dad is 130 and still filling out

Wow!!!

He’s going to take craps bigger than Dug….

Dug was born mid February and weighed in at 9.9 lbs at the vet today.

After reading about your first pup and what you went through, I wish you years of happiness with Henry!

Henry does appear very contented. Will be a large dog.

(Dug looks to be a sweetie, too.)

Best of luck to you. Love large breeds. Had an Irish wolfhound when the kids were young. The poor soul was bullied mercilessly by the three cats, even the 20 years old 4 lb bag of bones. Empty nesters here now, but I picture another wolfhound in our future.

My two Bull Mastiff / Pit Bull crosses (brothers, about 3 years apart, 11 and 8) are relaxing under my feet right now. Both of them are love bugs, especially the bigger (older) guy. Henry's a great looking pup. GSDs are great dogs too, like my now departed Sadie.

Both right at 100-110 pounds now. The younger boy's eyes look weird because he was born with a glaucoma and is now blind (but doing fine otherwise). He got more of the pit genes, big brother got more of the mastiff.
