Or maybe used means stolen from somebody's glove box, night stand, etc.

Some pawn shops, some legit gun shops.
There’s a lot of used Glocks laying around, and most aren’t that expensive.

How much is a used G-19/G-17 going for down there?

Then easily add $200 to that price up here.

Another way is:
You don’t have the cash for dope (Crack/Meth/Heroin). Trading your gun in for $300 worth of dope is a pretty damn good deal for someone that’s wants to get high!
