reports are still coming in about a gunfight that occurred today @3 pm in a empty lot when a group of police officers, including the Sherriff, 2 deputies and a private citizen confronted a group of 5 young men brandishing handguns and threating any lawman with death. Attempts to peacefully disarm the gang ended abruptly when reports say they aimed their pistols at the lawmen. Two of the gang members were killed in the ensuing firefight, while one officer sustained a non life threating gunshot. The County Sheriff arrived on the scene and was attempting to make arrests.

Yep. I can confirm. My first cousin about 5 times removed was part of the group targeted but was unarmed and wasn’t shot.
(Mom’s maiden name was Clanton, have the family tree to back that up )
