Vet just left..

Had our teacup Yorkie for 12 years.. (Teaka)

She had lost eye sight in one eye and the other one was going as well.. her health was failing.. she was anemic and as a 5lb dog.. she lot a pound in the last month.. lots of GI issues basically not absorbing nutrients..

Teaka was our (2x) daughters first dog.. oldest was 5 when we got her.. oldest is back from College/Freshman year and I'm grateful Teaka was able to hang on until she came back and said good byes..

Man, I loved that little dog too.. that's all. Just needed to rant/vent/share since I'm not generally the emotional guy/one around the house.

So sorry. I've been there and that was 9 years ago and I still think of him now and then. I have two older dogs now and am dreading the bridge.

So sorry. We have been there too many times. We lost Candy last January, it still hurts. I'm unable to talk the wife into another pup, even though it could take months or years to find the one I'd like for hunting. Prayers sent your way...

It's a hard thing to go through after 12 years. You have every reason to vent and cry with us. We just put down our 13 year old Blue Pit on Dec 09 and I'm still tearing up almost daily

Condolences for what you're going through. We've sent several Scotties over the Bridge, and it never gets any easier.

Cherish the time you had, and if and when the time comes to open your heart to another pet, you'll know.

So sorry for your loss. I currently have the only small dog I have ever had and I really didn’t want a small dog but she has been an incredible dog. The little ones with big personalities really know how to work their way into your heart very fast.
