P250UA5Custom Guitar Strap
My wife is wanting to get her dad a custom guitar strap, probably leather or a leather/fabric hybrid.
Anyone here do work like that or have a good source to contact?
Short notice but she's thinking for either his birthday (12/10) or Christmas.
Thanks gents

sigmonkeyI purchased a cloth strap and had it embroidered at a local shop that does sewing, stitching and embroidery.
It only took them 3 days to work it in. (Basically solid red strap with "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" in block letters embroidered)
Custom Leatherwork would likely take a while unless it was very simple work. (like stamped lettering), but being in Houston, there may be several places local doing leatherwork.

Lineman101Have you tried etsy.com
They have leather strap makers there and a quick email might get you one made quickly?

She was browsing Etsy, told her I'd check here as well.

OgieWhat kind of guitar? I have a really nice Gibson leather strap. It cost about $80 and is not custom, but it is really nice. I am assuming by "custom" you mean to have his name on it or something other personal on it.

He's got a mix of electrics, acoustics & a bass or 2. So I'm not sure...

That's a good one, SM. I grew up in an airline family, so there was stuff like that around all the time.
