I was going to recommend a Sawyer also. Their filters are great and simple to use. Very versatile with many ways to connect them up to filter water.

I've used Sawyer mini and regular for years in the outdoors on multi-day hikes. Switched to the regular version a few years ago. It's just slightly bigger but filters a little easier/quicker.

We've not been very pleased with the Life Straw when backpacking. The Katadyn Pocket Filter is our preferred filter. If we are concerned about viruses, we like the SteriPen as a system with the Katadyn.

Timely video. Not an accurate test for pocket filters, although the zerowater has my interest for a household solution.
