Often times I've seen clients suffering through emotional losses, physical challenges, or diseases-including the end of their own lives- who have had a stray wander up, a friend gift them a puppy or kitten, or some other seemingly random way of getting a pet. That, as Robert Frost eloquently stated, "has made all the difference" in so many lives. I never doubt that many are sent to us in our time of need, whether we realize it at that time or years into the future-or not ever.

I'm sorry for your loss, but if you ever doubt God has loved you, just look at what He gave you for your time of need.
