Jun 03, 7:00 AM – 6:50 PM CDT CCC Shooting Complex, 9010 Bob Moore Rd, Navasota, TX 77868, USA Lonestar Heroes Run & Gun Specifics This event is a 2-gun biathlon, and a collaboration between Third Coast Tactical and Texas Carbine. Competitors carry a rifle and pistol, hiking an unknown distance, to predetermined courses of fire ranging in distance. Each competitor must carry everything needed to complete the course with them when they start. 120 competitors, 1-day event. Recommend ammunition regardless of selected participant class, 210 rounds rifle, 100 rounds pistol (Note this amount of ammunition ensure all participants have the best chance of completing all stages with ammunition to spare). Event timeline: First heat departs at 7:40 a.m. Last heat departs at 3:40 p.m. Match finish 6:30 p.m. Awards ceremony 6:45 p.m. 210 rifle rounds and 100 pistol rounds: Will ensure a competitor has enough ammunition to have the best chance to complete all stages (unless timed Course Description Competitors will be able to choose from 3 classes: Light "Light fighter" = Rifle/Pistol (hard type holster required), 3 Mags for each, water source, eye/ear pro Medium "Tactical" = All the above, including front and back ballistic plates Heavy "Grunt" = All the above, including rucksack with 35lb dry weight. Course will be between 4-7km in length with 6 stages. The stages are named after Texas Military Heroes that inspired the concept of fire. The Roy – MSGT Roy P.
