Peace through superior firepower |
We are now forty days out from the election, and I deem it appropriate to make a few remarks in advance of the outcome. All reliable indicators point to a Trump victory, and I do believe that Donald Trump will win. While I do strongly advise posting members to avoid forecasting a gloomy outcome; while I do encourage posting members to bolster their fellow patriots, I am no Pollyanna, ignoring reality. It is not a foregone conclusion that Trump will win. It's possible that the clues before us are false or misleading, but, again, I do not think this to be the case. We are dealing with leftists, who are the same the world over: amoral, dishonest to their core, utterly lacking in scruples, viciously hateful; any means to an end. They consider the foundational documents of this nation, including the Constitution, to be impediments to their goals, and they would wipe it away in an instant if they could, in order to implement a totalitarian globalist society. They may be American citizens (afforded all the protections implied therein), but they are not Americans. This is not a too-fine distinction, because being an American involves a spirit of patriotism and love for the flag and country which is nowhere codified, but rather, exists in the heart and the mind. And if you lack this, and if you wish to destroy this nation and to replace it with something the Founding Fathers never intended, not only are you not an American, you are the mortal enemy of Americans and their nation and you should be publicly recognized as such. Of course they cheat. Of course they have cheated and will continue to cheat and to defy the law, but they can cheat only so much. Those of us who assign magical powers to a group of people who are in reality quite stupid (because, otherwise, they would not be leftists) do a disservice to themselves and to those around them. These people can be defeated, and I believe that conditions in this nation have deteriorated to such a degree, that our time has come. "Do you really think we can vote our way out of this?" I despise this arrogant question and I have contempt for those who pose it with a smirk, thinking somehow that they are so much wiser than those of us who fervently wish to see Donald Trump returned to the White House. It goes without saying that though their point may be accurate, the next few years would be far better for this nation with Trump in the White House, rather than Kamala Harris and the filthy regime for which she would serve as nothing but a figurehead. If the worst does happen in November, here is what I require from the active members of this forum: I will not tolerate dramatic proclamations that the world has come to an end and that this nation is "finished". You must take the long view, gentlemen. We are, as always, moving through history, and no one knows what tomorrow will bring. I will not tolerate white flags being run up the pole. If any of you think that a defeat this November means the end of this country and that we are defeated forever, take it somewhere else. I will not tolerate any member- knowing full well what I am requiring of all here- thinking they can get away with saying "I'm sorry, Para, I know you said yadda yadda but I just can't yadda yadda..." Do not do that. I am giving fair warning to anyone so inclined to behave in such a manner, that they risk permanent loss of posting rights. No matter how long you've been a member, no matter how many posts you may have, no matter what is your relationship with me or with this forum- you have my word. You will regret it. And any member, knowing all of this who wants to pull a John Wayne and go out in a blaze of glory, you will derive no satisfaction from doing so, because the instant- the very second I see such comments, I will cornfield you and your posts and that will be the end of it. No discussion, no admonishment, no expressions of disappointment from me. You will simply be gone. We're not having it. No one is going to stomp around in this forum and selfishly try to further bring down people who will certainly be dejected already. I've said it before and I'll say it again: The victory, whether it comes on the evening of November 5th, or the next day, or a week later or whenever (because we know the leftists will do everything they can to delay if they know they have lost, in an effort to steal the election), will belong to those of us who have never wavered in the fight, never expressed cynicism or undue doubt, and it will be joyous and sweet beyond expression. “Keep your fears to yourself, but share your courage with others.” Robert Louis Stevenson Lastly, I wish to offer a bit of advice to all gun owners who are reading this, be they members of this forum or no: Gentlemen and Ladies, get your stuff. The sooner the better. Before the election, stock up on ammunition. Buy extra magazines. Buy that firearm you've been contemplating. If all goes wrong, there will be panic buying, which will induce false shortages, which will drive up prices and create true shortages. And if all goes our way, well, let us apply the lessons of recent years past to the behavior of leftists. We are peaceful, law-abiding Americans, but being peaceful does not mean being harmless. Prepare accordingly. God bless all true Americans and may God bless the United States, its Constitution and its flag. When victory is ours, I invite you all for a toast here in the forum, and what a celebration we shall have. Thank you for taking the time to read this. ____________________________________________________ "I am your retribution." - Donald Trump, speech at CPAC, March 4, 2023

The United states of America survived Billy Carter, Bill Clinton, Obama, and so far Joe Biden. It is my fervent hope it will not have to survive a Harris administration, but I have faith it will if it has to. TTT

Thank you for taking the time to write, and post this. I have been tired of all the doom and gloom predictions and I am happy to hear we will be above that. Here’s to a stellar victory in November! The “lol” thread

Well put and this should make clear your expectations of behavior here. A lot can and probably will happen in the remaining months. We had to live through Jimmy Carter's Presidency to get to Ronald Reagan's. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

I think Trump's most important message is that we have to win November "Too Big To Rig". Being a life-long Republican in Illinois, I understand this better than most. Everybody I know well enough to talk politics with is Republican, with one notable exception, the LGS owner, and I've been working on him for years. I strike up conversations with people I meet at the grocery store, post office, doctor's office, veterinarian, barber shop, and nearly without exception they vote Republican. Nearly every lawn sign says "Trump" on it. A couple weeks ago I talked to a woman about my age (mid-70's) about the increase in illegal immigrant crime and told her I want to move to Texas because the problem will most-likely be resolved there sooner than here. By the expression on her face, she saw the light. The sheriff in this county is one of the approximately 60 out of 100 in Illinois who has pledged to not enforce the draconian anti- AR and large capacity magazine confiscation law currently being fought in the courts. This is all anecdotal evidence, I know, but there is a strong Republican base to the population in Illinois, but there is also a long history of political corruption as well. Two conclusions I've come to: that I have to figure how to seek out Dimocrats and non-committed (who in the Wide Wide World of Sports could possibly be uncommitted at this point???) and try and persuade them; and it's just possible that we can win "Too Big To Rig", even in this shithole of corruption. -------------------------- Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats. -- H L Mencken I always prefer reality when I can figure out what it is. -- JALLEN 10/18/18

Thanks Para for your encouraging thoughts on this. I don't post at all in the political posts but I fervently hope Trump wins. Thanks too for the opportunity to participate in this forum.

I've been on the Trump train since the first debate in 2015 and I'm not giving up now. My only "doom and gloom" statements have to do with buying all the guns and ammo I want to get my hands on any time soon, and you touched on that. This whole last year plus, I've been trying to accumulate all I reasonable want of both. ______________________________________________ Carthago delenda est
