Until I watched members of Congress stream into the House of Representatives for the State of the Union address I thought Send in the Clowns was a song by Judy Collins. I

I hadn't heard of the appropriation of clowns. I was aware that they tried to sell Pepe as anti-Semitic.

Someone needs to carefully explain to the left that they're just encouraging this kind of behavior in a sensitive, thoughtful, leftist-buzz-word-friendly kind of way until the left truly understands that they're just encouraging this kind of behavior.

That way it'll be doubly hilarious when the left just keeps encouraging this kind of behavior.

It started with the “ok” hand signal, something that still sends them into a tizzy.

The truly astonishing thing, to me, is that the left, no matter how many times it's explained to them, still doesn't grok how utterly off in the weeds it has gone.

Been saying this for years, and they just keep doubling-down on the insanity.

I truly thought, for a short while, that Herstory going down in flaming wreckage might be a wakeup call. It kinda looked like it for a short while. Nope, the good ship Leftist Insanity quickly got back on course.

Well, it's like this, see...they're leading us off into the progressive future, which currently exists nowhere else except in their imagination. They think no one else has imagined the future, therefore they're the only ones good enough to imagine the future (no, that doesn't make linear logical sense, but that is the mental gymnastic evolution they've gone through). That "being the case", what anyone else thinks either doesn't matter or is downright evil. Therefore, the only thing that matters is their imagination and their good intentions, so they don't really have to pay attention to anything beyond their reflexive interpretations of what anyone else thinks. After all, we're all supposed to be fascinated and inspired by what they imagine or we're all just dinosaurs and therefore either irrelevant or something to be left on the ash heap of history.
