I feel ya. It IS neat, and I guess I could deal with it for a night either side of halloween, but any longer than that I'd lose my shit.

My kid just said, “I bet the neighbor hates that”

Hahahahahah. That’s great, especially Metallica. We have a guy in the neighborhood who has his lights programmed like this..he plays Halloween music over a fm station that only goes a few blocks...you can drive by and listen to it.

This one shows how wide an area his light show affects. I'd hope he cuts it off at a respectable time:

I wouldn't want to be his neighbor, but I'll definitely appreciate it via a Youtube video!

I can't imagine how much all that equipment costs or what his electric bill is like, but to each his own!

The traffic must be horrendous.

There's a Candy Cane Lane locally. During Christmas the cars back up for blocks waiting to drive through and see the lights. And it's nothing like that.

Okay, thats the coolest thing I have watched all day. I clicked the link, went to YouTube, and found the TSO song Christmas Sarajevo to the music. That totally made my night.

I love it. That’s not far from me. I may have to go check him out. There was A guy that won a network TV Christmas light contest show a Few years ago the next block over. The trafffic jam each night was a joke. From basically dusk till about 9pm, 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Dude had water canons and a fog machine for each show that lasted about 15 minutes. Super crafty. I’ll stick to my string of lights. Another guy in town has a wild display for the last 35 years. You get out If your car and walk through. He has about 800,000 lights very tastefully done.

Also note that All these guys with synchronised lights and music you don’t hear the music unless you are in your car and tuned to the very low watt radio station they have in the garage the ones around here can pick it up only for a few hundred yards on either end of the house. Yeah I don’t think anybody would be pleased with Metallica on repeat all night for a few weeks. So all you see if your driving by is the flashing Halloween lights.
