Pawn Shop Owner/FFL murdered.

Daniel was a very good guy, I used him for transfers for almost 20 years. Knew a lot of other guys that used him as well because he only charged $10 if you had a LTC. Heartbroken for his family. He'd owned that shop for over 30 years.

That is horrible. If I had a high profile shop in a metro area I would take real security measures. Including armed back up on site.
This is a very sad event. Sorry for all that Loved and knew him. Discounting CC customers tells you all you need to know about him.

I knew him through various transactions. He was a straight up honest guy.
Hope they catch the criminals. That part of Lewisville near old town is on the edge of some sketchy neighborhoods. The news report doesn’t say much about the suspects other than car.

Sad but that's a business that has a higher risk than many others.
If I had a similar business anywhere in the area, that would be a wake-up call to reconsider my security situation.

Definitely he was way past a security upgrade. A few cameras outside and inside would deter thieves. No cameras is like a welcome mat.
