PTL, good guys go home safe, bad guy did not. My elder son is a Deputy here in Lewis and Clark County, he turns 35 today. I pray any encounter such as this that he returns home to his wife and two kids. I am sure happy your brother and fellow officers are safe.

Glad your brother and his fellow L.E.O.’s are ok. As for the perp going to the morgue, I can’t think of a finer place for him to be.

I was happy to see the positive outcome.
Was in that part of town just a couple hours before, you never know when something crazy is going to go down, even here in boring WV.

Glad he's ok and it turned out good. I'll raise a glass for him and his co-workers when I'm done with my shift.

Thanks to your brother and the other LEO for standing in harm's way. I am thankful that they are okay and the murderer won't waste any more taxpayer dollars, or ever be a threat to another human being.

I’m glad your brother is ok. Please keep an eye on him and make sure he’s ok mentally. These things can take a toll on cops. If you think he needs professional help please push him to seek It out.

He seems to be doing ok, he went thought this a few years ago when as a member of the SWAT Team he was attacked by a man with 2 butcher knifes, when They entered the room the man charged them, he lit him up with his MP5. When it was all over the dead bad guy ended up on top if my Brother as they lay on the floor.

Thanks everyone for the good thougbts, i'll pass them along to him
