Good morning, SF. My brother called me a bit ago, asking about the BDX system. He's gearing up for a hunt in Colorado this fall, and wanting to upgrade his optics. Has anyone here used this yet?

One of my key questions is WRT the necessity of a cell signal. Surely you don't have to be connected in order for the system to work, right? Download all the data before heading into the field, right? (Surely if I've thought of this, the smart guys at Sig have already....)
