I actually had a few Zima back in the day. My memories of it were pretty good. It was a lot better than Miller Genuine Draft, that all my friends were drinking.

We were just talking about Zima yesterday. Obviously, negatively.
When it came out, I fell for the marketing once. Certainly didn't fall for it twice.

I tried it once. That was enough.
Currently I’m drinking a Sapporo. Very good quality beer, albeit a bit short on character.

A cohort dropped by with Zimas one nasty, hot afternoon years ago. I drank one and it still lingers as a standard of alcohol done wrong. The same guy also had a Taurus Judge and I've questioned his judgement ever since.

Lol, nasty stuff. I was at Ft Stewart when that hurricane hit GA. We had duty so we were late to the on base packy. All that was left was 3 cases of Zima and a bottle of some off brand vodka. We bought em, held our noses and got drunk.

Zima is basically dead. Flavored seltzer waters like Truly, White Claw, High Noon, etc are the rage now.

I tease my brother relentlessly by telling him he's drinking "bitch beer". Me personally, I don't drink beer, only bourbon so he can't retaliate

A lot of guys do this to me when I drink seltzers. It gets old. I try to explain I will drink with or without diabetes and I’d rather without. When I make my own vodka/soda or drink bourbon no one makes fun of me but I end up completely trashed in an hour and that’s no fun for anyone.
These go to eleven.

OMG Welcome back high school memories.
15 and pounding a 6 pack of Zima with Boone's Farm and Everclear thinking I'm cool only to throw up all my Chinese Food in the bushes and sleep on my best friends bathroom floor.
I salute you Zima!

frayedends, I just like ribbing the shit out of my little bro. He's far from a bitch but he doesn't need to know that. I'll bet the same is true about you.
Now my middle brother on the other hand. Give him any kind of alcohol and he turns in to a bitch pretty fast. He really needs to take up drinking O'doul's or something.

Zima Gold. First time I dumped a drink after the first sip. I did see a display of Zima in 2018 at the local Total Wine and More. My wife and I did get a laugh, did the 'remember this' moment, and went to buy other items.
But in the year 2258, it will be a big seller on Babylon5...

I was a couple years behind the curve on Zima, so it never got any attention from me. I remember it, but wasn't 'of age' at the time.

I tried it back then when it came out. My immediate first impression was 'Zima Zucks'.

Even back in the 80s, Zima was a punchline, a joke with my group. I tasted it once as to see the fuss and it was horrid. And I didn't know many girls who enjoyed the stuff either, even though it was known as a girl's drink.
Zima was to booze like Saved By The Bell was to television.
