So one of my oldest friends who lives 2500 miles away did me a HUGE favor this weekend and really went over and above anything I could ever ask of anyone...He would not accept money but I know he is a cigar guy so I thought about sending him some nice cigars but I am at a loss.

He wife says he loves Rocky Patel Decades but when I looked them up I saw several types which confused me even more.

My question is this - Which ones are the ones to get and who is a god online retailer that will ship

Also, if he likes those is their possibly a better cigar to get him that would be a "step up"?

Rocky Patel Decades
Dark, Strong, rich, Maduro, so as long as you stick in the Maduro class, there are lots of options.

You know what he likes, that cigar is good, and there are several sizes, you need to find out what size, corona, Emperor, Toro or get him a mix of sizes.

CI Rocky Patel Decade Link

Emperor is a Churchill, longer smoke, 6 inch cigar, Coronas are 4.5 inch smaller smokes.

Get him 5 Emperor, 5 Corona, etc if you want to stay in his favorite brand.

Other Options in the category.

Tabernacle one of my go to cigars

Too bad his wife didn't either say which Rocky Patel Decades style or at least if they're big and thick, long and thin, or short... you get the idea.

Regardless these two sites should provide some help in deciding the best of that line to present to him as well as some alternatives:

She said they are closer to big/thick and for sure not long thin or short?

Any good online retailers?

Cigars International is a good dealer.

If he likes Rocky Patel, he would probably like Gurkha. They make rum and cognac infused cigars that are flipping awesome! Not cheap around $12/stick but definitely worth it, in my opinion.
