When she loses the presidential election the people of MA can rejoice because it will mean she won't be our senator either. Guy named Geoff Diehl (R) is running for the senate and looks pretty good.

It's fun to horse around with this, but politics is so volatile in a PC and corrupt media environment that there's no way to predict this far out whom the Left will advance. Suffice it to say that they have a very thin farm team which gives us great entertainment in speculation as their toes dip into the water of the democratic process.

Don't be fooled. It would be too easy to derail Fauxcahontas with a simple request for a DNA test.
If she had one showing legitimate heritage already, you know she would have released it.

I don't like her any more than the rest of you... but you have to recognize her appeal to Democrats.

Indeed, but think tactically for a second (or is that strategically?).

If you were interested in running for President, would you really want the target on your back and all of the attention and pressure or being the "presumptive nominee" this far out in the election cycle?

I wouldn't, which leads me to wonder whether she's being put out there as a sacrificial calf - she takes all of the heat until she (or those considering supporting her) gets burned out or flamed out by a scandal. Whoever's going to make the successful run for the nomination then steps forward "to pick up the torch" without having spent any money, made any commitments, or taken any damage.

She's dumb, man. Some Dem has to be thinking of her as nothing more than a crash test dummy, or no one would be making any noise about her at all until at least next spring.

IMHO, of course.

Yeah, I was gonna say... They can run whoever they want at this point and any option they pick is going to end up being their version of McCain/Palin '08.

It would be refreshing to see a dozen Demonrats slinging mud at each other for two years instead of the DNC picking two to run campaigns with little mud slinging.

Way too many years of a Republicans running a dozen and the "winner" emerging covered in mud and every skeleton exposed.

I know we all think it's preposterous the idea of an Elizabeth Warren winning the Presidency, but then again so did the other side when Donald Trump announced his candidacy. I wouldn't take anything for granted.

All I know is, the knives are definitely going to come out in this next election. If Warren somehow wins, she'll have been the winner of a brutal knife fight, and we all know how that goes.

The Democratic primary is not going to be under anyone's control. They're going to have a double digit number of candidates going in, or which Warren is going to be only one, and I predict a fair amount of fratricide, and they all try to out-left each other.

I think this is a bit different. Donald Trump was a response from a majority of the country to 'both' parties and their corrupt, America damaging, self-serving agendas. Although a piece of the electoral spectrum hates Donald Trump (i.e. those who would vote for Warren or another socialist), the majority of the country still either supports President Trump or won't support someone who would turn the country 180 degrees away from the current agenda and policies that are working for Americans. That, and Warren has the sort of baggage that an elementary student running for class president could beat her to death with.

If the Dem's run Warren, barring any unforeseen 'actual' disaster for Trump that hurts the economy and/or voters, they lose and lose Yuge.

Personally, I think Queen Kamala will be their choice. She flips all the right switches for where the Dem party is headed.....Black, Female, Socialist, and Flame thrower.

I agree, it is different. And I do believe she would lose big.

But I'm just too jaded in today's politics to take anything for granted.

I too think it will be Harris. It is too irresistible for the Dems to follow Barack with Kamala. Warren is racist for even considering a run against her. A progressive black first-term senator - she is the natural heir to the Boy King.
Plus she is a woman and probably slightly to the left of Warren. The media will be all over that. She will be sold as the savior of this divided nation.

Two weeks ago they were coronating Ms Ortega Macarena. Then some time passed and she opened her pie hole. If Harris is savvy enough to keep quiet and clean enough, she might be their candidate. Then again ANYthing can happen between now and then .

OK, first I have to admit I only made it through a third of that article. That being said, I loved this quote:

quote:
...in Natick, Massachusetts, where 1,500 people had gathered on the Sunday after the Fourth of July.

President Trump would have had 40,000 people in attendance. Hell he'd have more people there to protest him than she'd ever get to support her.

Good luck with that fauxahontas.

FWIW, that only makes sense when you're this far away from election day.

I think the Dems have figured out that the ground has shifted and is continuing to shift beneath their feet. IMO that means that we're still waiting to see which Dem takes which tack in the civil war currently raging within the Dem party, and which Dem party big shots start lining up behind them.

As for Kamala, I'm not sure what the Dems would think she offers them at this juncture, beyond the vainglorious hope that the election will turn on getting Trump to say something that the Dems and talking heads can portray as being sexist, racist or both.
